During the filming of Extreme, Director Jon Long and his production crew waited out a twenty day storm front which dropped some ten feet of new snow into the mountains surrounding Juneau, Alaska. When the storm broke, helicopters were launched and four of the worldÕs best snowboarders; Craig Kelly, Terje Haakonsen, Victoria Jealouse and Brandon Ruff, were transported to the tops of some of the steepest, most magnificent peaks in the region. Narrow steep couloirs with jagged rock bands; faces so steep the snow barely settles; terrain so extreme it is rarely considered accessible even by athletes of this calibre is where all the snowboarding action of EXTREME took place.
