World-renowned rock climber, Lynn Hill, has accomplished so many
incredible feats, she has become a living legend. She has won
more than 30 international competitions, including 5 championships
at the Arco Rock Master - the Wimbledon of competitive climbing.
Lynn has climbed some of the hardest outdoor routes in the world,
including a 5.14a in France called the Masse Critique. It was
the first 5.14a ever completed by a woman. She accomplished the
first free ascent of The Nose of El Capitan. She was also the
first to make a one-day free ascent of this face, which she accomplished
in 23 hours. This will long stand among the worldÕs greatest rock-climbing
achievements. Other credits include the first free ascent of the
4,000-foot face of Peak 4810 and the 4,240-foot Perestroika Crack.
She continues to chart new terrain and receive international attention
for her accomplishments.
